I started working in Links Childcare St Olaves in September 2018 as an educator. In May 2019 I was promoted to SLE, the company gave me the opportunity to keep moving on and in November 2019 I was promoted to Deputy Manager in Links Childcare Portmarnock. In April 2021 I was promoted to Manager in the same creche. Lastly, I transferred to Links Childcare Clonee in January 2022. Links Childcare has given me the opportunity of keep learning and growing in the childcare field. I enrolled on the LINC programme in 2020 and also enjoyed all the training Links Childcare has provided during the years such as Manual Handling, First Aid and CPDs.

I joined Links Childcare Portmarnock in September 2020 thinking that I was going to be here in Ireland for just a year. A year and a half later, I have been promoted twice (first as an SLE and recently, to my current position of Assistant Manager.
During this year and a half I have had the opportunity to improve my level of English and learn from all my co-workers to develop my teaching skills.

It has been more than 3 years since I decided to move to Dublin to learn English. Links Childcare offered me the opportunity to start working with a basic English level. I have been working with many colleagues, some of them from Spain which made the transition to English easier. The Company is very open and flexible with new people joining the Company.
I have had the privilege of many amazing experiences and have been able to work alongside excellent Managers and colleagues. After hard work and dedication, I was promoted to Senior Lead Educarer a year ago, and recently was promoted further to the position of Assistant Manager. At the beginning, I was nervous to work in the reception with the computer but my Manager did a great job mentoring me and helping me improve my computer skills.
My experience in Links has been positive, I was planning to stay in Ireland for a year and I have been here more than 3 so far. I am very grateful for all the opportunities Links has given me.

I have worked with Links for five years. I have gone from Educarer, to SLE to Deputy Manager and I am now Manager in Links St Olave’s. There is always room to progress in the company and they always consider in-house staff to be promoted.
There is so much support from the senior management team and H.R. I have been pregnant in these five years and the company attended to my needs to the highest standards making sure I felt comfortable in my work environment throughout. There is so much training provided to help you in your workday and there is always extra training on offer if you want to learn more.

I started in Links in September 2020 as an SLE (Senior Lead Educarer) and very quickly fell in love with the company. There are lots of career progression opportunities as I moved from SLE to Deputy Manager after a few months.
I have recently been promoted for a second time to Manager and I am enjoying the role so far. There is a lot of responsibility but it’s easier when you have a great team around you. I enjoy greeting the parents and children each morning and ensuring that the centre runs smoothly every day. Lisa, our Regional Manager is always at the other end of the phone if we need anything which is reassuring.
I have completed the LINC programme to gain the role of Inclusion coordinator – an opportunity I would not have had if it was not for Links Childcare. I am very happy and settled in the company.
Pablo Higuera

My name is Pablo Higuera. I started in Links Drumcondra in September 2020 as an Educarer in the Toddler room.
The following year, I successfully applied for a promotion to SLE (Senior Leader Educarer). As part of this role, my new responsibilities include; leading my colleagues and encouraging best practice, making them feel secure in the daily routine of the room and helping the managers in daily tasks. During these two years, I have been able to continue learning and developing my skills as an educator, all thanks to the help offered by my Managers, colleagues and through the CPD meetings and courses offered by the company. I am enrolled in the LINC programme to get the role of Inclusion Coordinator in Early Years.
Recently, after much hard work, I was promoted to the role of Assistant Manager. Now, in this new role, I can help to all the new staff to feel welcome and assist the manager as part of the management team

Links has allowed me to work in the education sector, broadening my work and personal experience. Thanks to Links, I have had the opportunity to experience a new and different vision of education and understand different educational philosophies. As for my career, after 4 years working at Links Blackrock, my skills have improved with the training that I have been offered (with different courses, to complement my academic training) and the opportunities to grow within the company.
This job has also allowed me to meet new people with whom I have learned a lot and have greatly enriched my personal experience

I joined Links Childcare Blackrock as an Educarer in 2019 in the Toddler room. There was always a good atmosphere in Links Blackrock. I love to see the children growing up, and developing over the years. Links has provided me with many tools and demonstrated a good way to work with children.
Links Childcare Blackrock gave me the opportunity to improve and grow as a professional, as Links provided us lots of opportunities to promote ourselves. Now, as Assistant Manager, I can say I have learned so much about the childcare industry because I have lots of people who inspire me daily (the whole management team, Manager, Deputy Manager, and Regional Manager).
I would like to say that they are always there to encourage us, providing opportunities to learn and improve and helping us to do our jobs better. I am really grateful for all the experience I have gotten so far in Links.
