September is one of our favourite times of year here at Links, we love welcoming all the new children and parents into our créche and the excitement for the new term ahead! We hope that all of our new families have enjoyed their first few weeks with us and are beginning to feel part of the Links team.
It is so important to us that all of our children feel welcome and included here at Links, we’d like to take this opportunity to remind you that if there is a particular celebration or festival that is important to you and your family to please let us know. We would love to incorporate it into our learning.

Welcome to Links!!
This month has been one full of change, which can be very unsettling. We had children moving up in all of our rooms, Babies became Wobblers, Wobblers became Toddlers and Toddlers joined our Pre School Room! Not to mention all of the new children we were lucky enough to welcome in every age group.
We are so proud of all the children and how they have grown in confidence over the course of this month, embracing their new routines and making lots of new friends.
Our Welcome party is a way for children to enjoy each other’s company and get used to their new environment in a relaxed and informal way. We loved watching them interact with each other and their Educarers!
Family Day
We loved getting to know a little bit about each child’s family this month.
Thank you all so much for sending in the fantastic photographs of your families! We created fabulous family trees and got to learn about each child’s family, extended family and pets. The children were so excited to show their friends the pictures and drawings of their families and point out their loved ones on the family tree.
It is so important to us that Links becomes a home away from home for your child, displaying these familiar items and having their Educarers learn about their home lives really helps the children to settle in to life at the creche.
