Links Childcare offers a Leadership Programme to all its employee’s.  The course consists of 8 modules over 4 sessions.  It is an excellent opportunity for our employees to develop their leadership skills within the childcare industry.

In order to support its aim of providing a quality service, Links Childcare believes it is important for its staff to continuously improve its skills level through participation in continuing professional development (CPD). As we have stated in our general policy, ‘quality is a subjective concept that is difficult to define. We also believe it is something which is constantly evolving and the journey towards quality must be viewed as a continuous process as opposed to a product’. An essential part of that process involves the provision of a high quality CPD programmes for staff.

Course Description

The aim of the Leadership Programme is to:-

  • develop the knowledge and skills for effective leadership in the workplace
  • explore key principles, best practices and characteristics required by managers and leaders
  • develop self-management skills to essential for the effective managers and educators
