As the Autumn season truly kicked in, we enjoyed lots of lovely fun learning. We loved learning about the Farm, Autumn colours and materials and
transport too. We celebrated Halloween towards the end of the month with lots of Halloween arts and crafts, games and Dress Up Days.
Our children also loved Pet Day and learning all about different world cuisines during World Food Day. During Beep Beep Day and Road Safety
Week, we did lots of games and activities to help us learn about the importance of road safety.
As always, keep an eye out on our Social Media Channels for photos of our daily activities.
In this newsletter, we have shared some insight into the activities from each of our rooms that has taken place during the month of October. We
hope you enjoying browsing through them.

Activities from our Baby Room

This month we welcomed 2 new babies William and Annabelle, and we are delighted to have new friends in our Baby Room.
We celebrated Beep Beep Day by turning boxes into cars and sitting in them and driving around the room and we enjoyed this very much.
Autumn was celebrated by going outside and looking at the leaves falling from the trees. We also made flowers from there handprints to brighten up the room as the dark days came with autumn.
We enjoyed some movement and music exercises and used music to help us use all our muscles and move around the room. The children were crawling walking and pulling them selves up it was a great success.
We really enjoyed Halloween and painted some lovely decorations that we displayed outside our rom for all the parents to see. On Halloween we dressed up and had a spooky party where we danced and played games. We laughed so much.
In the Baby Room we are always working on our sensory skills and we made some lovely sensory bottles with all the colours of the rainbow to shake.

Stories from our Wonderful Wobbler Room

Our Wobbler Room decorated their room painting the different elements of the weather such as clouds, snowflakes, rays, and a sun. They loved doing arts and crafts while learning about the seasons. Wobblers love getting dirty and engaging in messy play, so painting the weather elements with their hands was a big activity for them.
As we are in Autumn, wobblers collected leaves from the garden ad they made a sensory box with pines, leaves and sticks. They were amazed with this box as they could play indoor with the outdoor nature.
Furthermore, they were showing interest in all the types of vehicles. They are really into cars, trucks, and buses. Every Friday, at garden time the bin truck shows up. They wave at it and get very excited. Our Educarers painted a road on the floor with chalks so the children could play with all the vehicle toys that they have in the room. They pretended to ride the vehicles on the road, so they were having fun while developing their adult role play. They loved the activity! Another activity that they loved was getting all the chairs in a line pretending that it was a bus while our Educarers sang “The wheels on the bus”.
Of course, October means Halloween! Wobbler Room got their room spooky to celebrate this fun event that they love. Children painted pumpkins, monsters, ghosts, vampires, and all the creepy fantastic creatures. They loved singing the son “Knock, knock, trick or treat”. Educarers and children got their costumes out for the Halloween party. There was spooky music and tons of fun.

Tales from our Toddler Room

We said good-bye to our old friends, they went upstairs to Pre-school.
Toddlers celebrated Ines birthday, and Fionn and Tiernan’s birthday as well.
Welcome to our new friends! We were doing some activities to know each other better.
Time to learn something about transports. We loved Beep-Beep Day, painting traffic lights and learning about the safe cross code.
For our Autumn season learning, we were learning about the weather, playing with autumn clothes, and dressing some dolls up.
For Halloween we were doing arts and crafts painting spiders, a monster in our door, some ghosts. And we dressed up like Cruella Deville and 101 Dalmatians!
