What a lovely month we have had during June. As the restrictions have lifted slightly, we are enjoying the stories our children are
telling us, about them meeting up with Grandparents and relatives outdoors.

We shared some lovely moments, engaging in our exciting activities and we made some special memories with our Pre-school
children, as they graduated from Pre-school class. We are so delighted for them, as they soon embark on their next big journey of
Primary School. Before then though, we are looking forward to creating more memories with them during the Summer months.
Special thanks to all our Educarers and staff who made Graduations such a special day for our children, and thank you Chef Rafa for
the amazing cake that he made.

We loved our Summer Festival, celebrating the Euros football tournament, and for Fathers Day, we got very creative and made some
lovely cards and artwork for them. Keep an eye out on our Social Media Channels for photos of our daily activities.
In this newsletter, we have shared some insight into the activities from each of our rooms that has taken place during the month of June.

Activities from our Baby Room

Summer is finally here. Our babies have spent so much time in the garden discovering our senses.
We have brought new materials into our room such as sand, water, feathers and pom poms and we have spent so much time outdoors learning to
go on the bikes and cars, crawling around and dancing to our favourite song baby shark.

For Euro 2021 we were team Spain all the way! Maria and Lucia were excited to see how far Spain could get and we were really excited for the game
against Poland as our lovely chef Rafael is flying the
polish flag.

Father’s Day celebration is a really special time in the baby room as for most fathers it is there first experience of getting some home-made cards and
presents from there special little people. The children have worked so hard with the help from their Educarers to create some lovely pieces of art
for our dads, with the most special being “daddy is our superhero” cards.

Virginia, Maria and Lucia would like to say congratulations to each child graduating from preschool. It was a pleasure to interact with the
children on a daily basis, seeing them go to the garden and popping their heads in to say hello. We
are all so proud of our graduates.

Babies are starting to walk and wobble around and it is so lovely to see the children growing in front of our very own eyes.

Our Wobbler Room News

To celebrate summer in the Wobbler room, we started learning about all different smells and flavours. Our favourite new
smell was mint and lemon. This smelled so yummy and refreshing. We also spent a lot of time outdoors in the last couple of
weeks and we brought a lot of activities to the garden -trains, cars, and tracks. We even made a track for our cars ourselves.
Euros 2020 – to celebrate the euros we had some games in the garden and we picked teams and each team kicked the ball
under the slide to score a goal.
For Father’s Day celebrations, we made our dads a lovely treat. We worked hard painting and gluing to make sure our daddies
got something special from all of us. We also wanted to make all the other men in our family’s feel special too so we made
cards for uncles, god fathers, grandads and everyone that we love.
Iraxte, Veronica, Ines and Chris want to say good luck to all the children graduating this year in Pre-school. We wish you every
luck in big school and know you will all do so well.
Our wobblers were learning “all about me”, and about our identity. We used our sense of identity with the help of our
Educarers to discover what we really like, food, colours, toys and more. We displayed all this information on or boards.

Tales from our Toddler Room

Summers is here, and toddlers are enjoin our “trips to the beach”. We put our toes in the sand and water, sat on some
chairs, closed our eyes and we were transported to the beach. We put some animals in the water too because everyone
deserves to have some beach time. We also spend some time outdoors with our new books and we sat in the sun and
relaxed while the Educarers read to us. We even brought snack outside to have a picnic in the sun.
As you can imagine with Manuel and Reuban in the room, we have Euro fever. The boys told us all about foot ball and
even read us a book about a little boy who wanted to play for Spain.
For Father’s Day we celebrated by making our dads some lovely cards. We used our hand and footprints so our dads can
remember how small we were. We made so much effort to make them feel special, we celebrated Father’s Day also by
learning a Spanish song to sing to our dads on Father’s Day.
The staff in Toddlers want to say a huge congratulation to all of our Graduation classes. We would like to wish them all
the best of luck in Primary school and hope they will have every happiness making new friends and meeting their new
Teachers.
So much more has been happening in Toddler Room this month. They have made their own ring toss games and have
been enjoying learning colours, attempting to say the colours in Spanish.
We also are very sad to say goodbye to Manuel. We had a big party on the last day and we celebrated our time with him.
Toddlers are big into reading now. Their favourite at the moment is all about animals.

Pre-school Room News

Pre-school 1
Our Preschool children are having a great time in the sun. On the
hottest day we all had a water fight. The children thought this
was so good. They laughed and talked about it for hours and they
even got Maria and Sandra wet. They used sand and water to
make a beach for there babies and they paddled their little feet in
the water.
For Euro 2020, the preschool room made some Spanish flags and
Estella told them all about the country. They asked if they could
support Ireland in the euros, but we explained that they were not
in it, and they wanted to support Spain then instead. They got
into the spirit of things by trying to get the ball between the two
cones to score a goal.
Father’s Day we made a lovely card with a picture of our daddy’s
on it the children really enjoyed telling us the story behind the
pictures the children really enjoyed showing the appreciation to
there dads in there brilliant art work
Our Graduation for 5 of our Preschool 1 children was very
special. These five children will go to Primary School, and they
worked so hard on preparing their t-shirt, caps and art work. We
had a huge party with medals, cakes, certificates, book marks and
jelly’s. We sang songs and celebrated all day. We want to wish all
the children graduating the best of luck in big school and hope
they meet so many new friends and like there new teacher.
We had lots of other activities through the month, enjoying dance
party, obstacle courses, picnics outside. We hope to have so
much more fun for the rest of the summer.

Pre-school 2
Summer in preschool 2 was very exciting. We worked a
lot on preparing for graduation we even brought our
preparations outside by practising our songs in the
garden. We talked a lot about the beach and sea
animals and we talked about how its great to keep our
beaches clean for the summer so every one can enjoy
the sea. We also talked about water safety and how we
don’t go into the water alone and always be so careful
near the water.
For Father’s Day the children went all out and made
some wonderful masterpieces for their dads. They put
in so much work making gifts and cards. It was a great
effort in and we are very proud.
Graduation takes so much time and energy from staff
and children. They worked so hard to prepare for the
big day its so sad due to covid we all cant celebrate
together, but it was lovely capture them with lots of
photos. Our cake was made by our wonderful Rafal
and we celebrated all day with party and dance
completions.
We want to wish Natalia the best of luck on her return
to Spain to finish her study’s. Hopefully she comes back
when she finishes, we will miss her.
