We have had such fun over the past three months, as we enjoyed the rest of the summer and the nice sunshine in July and August.

We took advantage of the nice weather outdoors and played lots of games and had fun with our friends in the fresh air.
In September, we welcomed lots of new children to our rooms and we have formed some lovely new friendships together.
Keep an eye out on our Social Media Channels for photos of our daily activities.

In this newsletter, we have shared some insight into the activities from each of our rooms that has taken place during the month of
September. We have also shared some photos with you from our July & August activities. We hope you enjoying browsing through them.

Activities from our Baby Room

In September our babies showed our Educarers Iris and Teresa that we were interested in music by listening and
wiggling during the song time!
Our Educarers helped us to make our own shakers out of paper plates. We also did a musical theatre topic, where we did
a lot about The Lion King musical! We made giraffe crowns and made lots of jungle animals using our handprints. We
had the most fun dancing to The Lion King musical songs! Oh we just can’t wait to be BIG!
We also learnt all about the media too! We made microphones, and telephones to practice using our little sounds. We
practiced saying words like; hi, bye, hiya, and who is it? It was very fun! While we were playing on our telephones, we
were saying ‘mama’ and ‘dada’ a lot, so our Educarers did a Family topic next! We painted pictures of our families doing
messy painting and also made little bottles of love art to give to our family. It was also Grandparents Day so we made
butterflies with our handprints as little gifts for our grandparents. We also loved watching the videos our very thoughtful
grandparents made for us!
Our friend Nathan was very happy when he came to creche after his swimming lesson, so we decided to learn about that
and other sports too for the last week of September. We made swimming pools with our footprints, painted different
kinds of sport balls and played lots of sport games in the garden. Our Educarers held our hands and we had pretend
races which was a lot of fun! We can’t wait to grow and learn more in October!
We welcomed our new Educarer into our classroom in September, her name is Estefania! We also welcomed lots of new
friends too! Hello to Arthur, Cillian, Sasha and Fionn! We can’t wait for us all to learn and grow together.

to go shopping with our shopping baskets full of food. Then we progressed this idea of shop keeper and did a topic on jobs!

crepe paper to colour it in.
We also made firefighter hats to take home. We played a lot of role play too, using playdough to pretend to be chefs and
played with the doctor box. Then we found a ‘small spider’ in the garden so we decided to learn all about animals of
