Activities from our Baby Room

· Family photo and playing together
Our children spent lots of time doing sensory play with sensory bags stuck onto the windows, with paint, jelly foam, water. They really enjoyed this activity. They also loved the
Food Jelly messy play as they got to taste the strawberry jelly.

They sat in the corner and focused on their family photos and spoke about mam and dad, and whoever were in the photographs. We also enjoyed spending time out in the
garden.

·Mother’s Day, Sensory play and clothes

The children made lovely Mother’s Day arts and crafts, we hope all the mammies enjoyed it, and had a wonderful day! We used our treasure baskets and turned them into texture
baskets and colour baskets. We put different textures for half of the week and changed it to items all of the same colour (Orange) for the second half of the week.
We spoke about clothes and when we were getting dressed after sleep, we spoke to them about socks and shoe, hats and gloves for the garden.

·St Patrick’s Day / Expressions
We focused on facial expressions with the children as they are so badly missing out with us having to wear masks and they cannot see us smiling to them properly or making silly
faces! We used flash cards to show the children and spent time at the mirror so they could look at their own facial expressions. We spent time in the book corner reading.
