What a lovely month we have had during June. As the restrictions have lifted slightly, we are enjoying the stories our children are
telling us, about them meeting up with Grandparents and relatives outdoors.

We shared some lovely moments, engaging in our exciting activities and we made some special memories with our Pre-school
children, as they graduated from Pre-school class. We are so delighted for them, as they soon embark on their next big journey of
Primary School. Before then though, we are looking forward to creating more memories with them during the Summer months.
Special thanks to all our Educarers and staff who made Graduations such a special day for our children, and thank you Chef Polina for
the amazing cake that she made.

We loved our Summer Festival, celebrating the Euros football tournament, and for Fathers Day, we got very creative and made some
lovely cards and artwork for them. Keep an eye out on our Social Media Channels for photos of our daily activities.
In this newsletter, we have shared some insight into the activities from each of our rooms that has taken place during the month of June.

Pre-school Room News

The preschool rooms learned about- Dragons/ Unicorns. Shapes and colours. Camping and graduation, around the world. The
clock and our senses.
This month we focused a lot on our graduation as we prepared to say goodbye to our pre-schoolers and welcome them into
summer camp, or to say goodbye to them and wish them all the best with their future and Big School!
The children’s imaginations can run wild and this month it certainly did. They enjoyed wanting to learn about fictional animals
but very much believe they are real, so of course we went along with it. They designed and decorated what their very own
dragon or unicorn would look like some used bubble wrap to make a texture on their dragons and others used glitter to make
their unicorn very sparkly! They spoke about the movie Dragons, and toothless! They made and designed their own dragon/
unicorn masks.
They used items in their room to explore and find shapes and objects around us. And to see if they knew all their shapes. we
made a shape matching game. The children made a caterpillar with a circle shape this was also for our graduation. The
children went to the garden to see if they could find more shapes outside. They made playdough and used the shape cutters
to make different shapes, they also did this when baking and making cookies.
The children spent lots of time making and decorating for their graduation based on the hungry caterpillar, we choose this to
show their growth from a caterpillar, who went through links childcare and learned a lot, they then transformed into a
butterfly, and they are ready to spread their wings and fly on to learn more.
We said goodbye to Hridaya as he moved house and Fiachra Dunne also left as he starts a new school in September. We also
said goodbye to Markus, Herkus, Mia and Erin. We wish them all the best in the future.
