Activities from our Baby Room

April has been a busy month for us in the Baby Room. We met our new friend Hannah and welcomed her to the room.

We started the month exploring different textures through our caterpillar made from feathers, cotton, paint and paper, and we tried lemons too. Some of us made a funny face while eating them because they tasted bitter.

The second week of the month we decided that we wanted to explore far away from here and we made a rocket to travel to the stars and other planets! We turned our jungle gym into a maze and met some interesting creatures called aliens.

But that is not all! We can’t forget the best part of the month; Easter! It was very exciting getting to meet the Easter Bunny. We decorated our room with colourful eggs and we made a mask with bunny ears.

The weather is getting better and better every week and we are very excited to enjoy the garden more often now!

Stories from our Wonderful Wobbler Room

In April we had so much fun. The sun is shining and the weather is getting warmer, and that can only mean one thing – that Spring is here!

We love to spend more time in the garden making new little friends such as worms, ladybugs and butterflies. We were feeding them with leaves and watering them with a syringe. We also made animal puppets to bring home with us and little fish made out of flour and water! We made the shape with our fingers, and then our teachers baked them in the oven. We painted them with so many colours, they looked great!

We were delighted to celebrate Easter in Crèche. We made a huge Easter egg to decorate the room with different materials and a card to wish mum and dad a Happy Easter.

Tales from our Toddler Room

Junior Toddlers

What a month for us in the Toddler room! We did not stop, we had lot of fun activities and played so many games.

We dressed up as princes and princesses, had tea and biscuits, made a crown and did a parade in the garden. We also made castles, some of them with Lego blocks and other ones out of sand. We explored the different nationalities of our friends: Irish, Italian, Spanish, Romanian, Indian, making flags for all of them.

Our toddlers loved painted a big mural to decorate our room, representing all forms of transports, which as airplanes and helicopters flying in the air, boats sailing in the sea, and trains and cars going through the city. We also made a race track in the garden riding our bicycles – we are super-fast! We love to discover new places and different ways to go.

In Easter, we prepared our own baskets to collect Easter eggs and made an Easter hunt outside. There were eggs everywhere! Down the slide, behind the mud kitchen, at the bottom of the tree… We could barely hold all of them in our hands.

We are looking forward to seeing what the next month has prepared for us!
