What a lovely month we have had during June. As the restrictions have lifted slightly, we are enjoying the stories our children are
telling us, about them meeting up with Grandparents and relatives outdoors.
We shared some lovely moments, engaging in our exciting activities and we made some special memories with our Pre-school
children, as they graduated from Pre-school class. We are so delighted for them, as they soon embark on their next big journey of
Primary School. Before then though, we are looking forward to creating more memories with them during the Summer months.
Special thanks to all our Educarers and staff who made Graduations such a special day for our children, and thank you Chef Declan for
the amazing cake that he made.
We loved our Summer Festival, celebrating the Euros football tournament, and for Fathers Day, we got very creative and made some
lovely cards and artwork for them. Keep an eye out on our Social Media Channels for photos of our daily activities.
In this newsletter, we have shared some insight into the activities from each of our rooms that has taken place during the month of June.

Activities from our Baby Room
Our baby room emerging interests was balls and different types of sports.Children explored sports through play
in the garden, they did lots of arts and crafts. Children also loved water play.
During the second week of June, our children’s interest was different types of transport such as boat, planes,
trains, and buses. Children explored the sounds different transports make. They explored different transport
through arts, crafts, story time and loved water play with boats that floated.
They also loved playing with the cars in the garden and in the room. Children did age-appropriate arts and
activities and had lots of fun.
They explore bugs through play, story time, music, and rhymes. They love seeing bugs in the garden.
Our Wobbler & Toddler Room News
Our children love Trains, Planes and Buses. All the children got involved and made their own trains, buses, and planes. They
also loved gluing different shapes. They enjoyed music and movements. For June’s events children enjoyed summer festival in
the garden.
For the second week of June children’s emerging interests were Jungle Animals. Children enjoyed painting jungle animals’
footprints. They also enjoyed gluing, messy play with paints and fingerprints. They learned a new song about jungle animals
and loved story time.
We love the summertime. The children loved water play in the garden, they enjoyed playdough with summer colours and
seashells. Children made their own rainbow wind mills, they did lots of arts and crafts related to the topic.
We enjoyed a “Beach party”. Children will make sandcastles in the garden and have a role play at the beach. They will have
lots of fun exploring the topic through play, art, music and movement and role play.
Pre-school & After-school Room News
Pre-school 1
The first week of June children’s emerging interest was
insects. They did lots of arts and crafts such as butterfly,
spiders, lady bird. Children enjoyed exploring insects in the
garden and reading the books about all different insects.
They also enjoyed nice weather outside, did lots of outdoor
activities and they enjoyed smoothies.
On the second week of June children’s emerging interest
was Summer. They had great time in the garden, did lots of
arts, as they love smoothies they also enjoyed making
them. They played lots of different sports as June’s event
was Euros 2021.
For the third week of June, our children’s emerging interest
was Dinosaurs. Children’s favourite Dinosaurs is also their
theme for Graduation 2021. They had lots of fun doing arts
and crafts and preparing for the graduation. Children
made graduation hats, sang their graduation songs, they
also have their white t-shirts decorated for the graduation
day 22nd of June when children will have cake made by
Declan and will have a party in the creche.
We had a “Links got talent” week as lots of children love
dancing and showing some amazing breakdancing moves.
Even teachers loved dancing to Macarena song.
