Activities from our Baby Room

Our babies have been enjoying lots of fairy tale stories and singing different songs.

Miriam created some finger puppets and she did some role-play with our babies, using the stories as a guide.
They also painted a fairy forest, and our Educarers display a big sheet on the floor so the children can colour and express themselves using different parts of their bodies and different colours.

The children were also busy exploring different textures (rough, soft, shiny, etc) and they created a book including different textures, where which page represents one texture.

dolls.

They were also interested in our Summer theme and playing the role of hairdressers too, taking turns to role play as hairdressers and customers getting a new hair style.

For our Nature and animals theme, we created a house for the animals in our garden and he did lots of messy play using the animals to enhance our learning and play.

We love going to the beach with our families, so we talked about this in Links and played with water and sand. We loved to pretend we are at the beach.
