Dear Parents/Guardians,
We hope you and your families are all keeping well and safe during the poor weather conditions.
As Met Eireann has extended the red level alert warning to 3pm tomorrow (Friday 2nd of March) and having carried our further risk assessments in regards to the safety of our team, children and parents we wish to inform you that we must close all of the Links Childcare centres again tomorrow – Friday 2nd of March.
I am sure you will understand that the safety of our staff, children and parents is of paramount importance to us. Due to the red level alert warning, it has serious consequences for transport, resulting in severe difficulty for staff getting to work safely. We will not be in a position to maintain child to staff ratios as per the Pre-School Regulations during the red level alert warning.
The management team will monitor the situation carefully and should there be any further updates we will inform you.
